Campus Kids Day: Autumn Adventure Presented By Corewell Health

Campus Kids Days Presented By Corewell Health returns to Campus Martius Park for summer 2025! Families are invited to enjoy this free series of fun-filled Sundays featuring themed entertainment, interactive activities and engaging experiences for kids of all ages. It’s the perfect way to make the most of a Sunday in the heart of Downtown Detroit. Our Campus Kids Day event series is presented by Corewell Health and supported in part by the Detroit Zoo and Metro Parent.  The Michigan Science Center will also be in attendance at all Campus Kids Day events, bringing fun in the sun with unique activations and stations.

Events run from 1–5 p.m. on select Sundays, July 13 through October 5.

• September 21: Autumn Adventure 

Welcome the start of fall with an Autumn Adventure at Campus Martius Park! This family fun event will feature:

• a “Detroit Builds Basketballs” innovation station courtesy of Detroit CHEMpreneurIST.
  • From cardboard to court-ready: Participants will channel curiosity into creativity by designing basketball games that reflect their vision, values, and voice that are centered on play, and people-first thinking. They will learn how great ideas evolve through creativity, empathy, and trial and error. Whether you’re crafting a one-of-a-kind hoop or engineering a new way to play, this is where Detroit comes together to build, problem-solve, and dream big.
• DJ Invisible spinning your favorite family-friendly tracks
• A Bounce house
• Take in the Harvest Tunes Fall Kids Music Show taking place from 1:30-2:30 p.m. and 3:30-4:30 p.m. 
• Explore the Michigan Science Center Creepy Chemistry station featuring Spooky Pumpkins
• Leaf Cyanotype Craft stations courtesy of Metro Parent
• glitter tattoos, lawn games, and giveaways from Birdie’s Books
• Tigers baseball on the big screen
• Ticket giveaways courtesy of 313 presents including the chance to score tickets to Sesame Street Live and CoComelon Live at the Fox Theatre.
