**Special guest speaker:** Bandhan Kaur: Bandhan is a back end software engineer for Excelerate America, Obama Foundation’s Civic Nation Change Collective Fellow, Google Women Tech Makers Ambassador, a diversity advocate for the DEI committee at Wayne State University’s College of Engineering, and a previous Microsoft TEALS AP Computer Science Volunteer Teacher. After teaching coding for six years, her mission became to break barriers for women in tech. She is currently working on launching the coding program at Charlotte Mason community schools called Lunch & Code, focusing on providing Computer Science knowledge to 8th graders black and brown girls in Detroit Public Schools to prepare them for AP Computer Science.
