Board Game Night at Valade with Opal Grove Games
February 16 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Bring your friends for the perfect winter Friday night activity inside of the heated shed at Robert C. Valade Park along the Detroit River! With dozens of games to choose from – ranging from classics like Monopoly and chess, to modern favorites like Tellustrations and Hues + Clues, to party games you may have not even heard of, like Mysterium and Dorfromantik – there will be something for everyone!
The team at Opal Grove Games will be on-site to help you learn the rules for any game you’d like to play. No need to read the instructions or even figure out what game is best for your group, because Opal Grove has that all covered!
Upon arrival, visit the Opal Grove library to pick out your game. Whether you’re looking for something competitive or cooperative, there will be something for you! No need to come in a group – they’ll be games to join if you’d like! All ages are welcome. Drop in anytime between 5 and 9 to play!
Fireside Fridays at Valade also include food and drink available for purchase, as well as outdoor activities such as curling, box hockey, giant fires, sledding, and more!
Registration is not required but encouraged. Valade Park is located at 2670 Atwater.
