Design-Build Green Hub Launch, Open House & Tech Demo

Part of Detroit Month of Design: Design Build Green Hub Open House & Tech Demo
Guests will be invited to walk around the Design-Build Green Hub, an incubating space for minority contractors and local stakeholders, which will open its doors in Spring 2023.
Attendees will learn about the design build project from the team and through an interactive experience with TV screens showcasing the future “If these wall could talk exhibit” and engagement boards. There will also be the opportunity to try out the Virtual Reality tour as you walk around the property.
Weaved into the displays will be the story of the building’s restoration and local involvement in the design-build process, as well as narratives collected since the property was purchased in 2017. They will be guided through the lens of design build experts to implement ideas into the final implementation. There will also be information on the goals for the project and how people can get involved.
