💥 Vernor’s is turning 160, and Riopelle Street is going all in on a party.
On Sunday, June 14, Eastern Market is hosting a daylong celebration of Vernor’s 160th anniversary, with a street-wide toast at 3:30 p.m.
Marrow in the Market is in on it >> a full brunch menu with Vernor’s specials layered on top, including Vernor’s Chicken & Waffle (Vernor’s brined fried chicken, blackberry Vernor’s maple gochujang glaze) and the Vernor’s Pretzel Smash Burger. Plus Vernor’s floats, Vernor’s ice cream, and a lineup of adult beverages pulled straight from Vernor’s own historical recipe books.
Plus history stations along the street, the Vernor’s Gnome, James Vernor V signing books, vintage advertising, live music, and games.
