Whether you’re discovering pickleball for the first time or sharpening your competitive edge\, our welcoming courts are designed for fun\, connection\, and friendly competition in the heart of the city. \nThroughout the season\, Beacon Park and the Downtown Detroit Partnership in collaboration with Come Play Detroit and Parking Lot Pickleball will host open play sessions\, organized leagues\, and thrilling tournaments that keep the energy high and the community growing. Students will learn how to prepare Honey Sesame Chicken\, featuring crispy chicken coated in a sweet and savory sesame glaze. The class also covers making Lucky Lo Mein Noodles\, teaching the basics of stir-frying noodles with vegetables and flavorful sauces. Participants will practice wok cooking while preparing Wok Fried Rice\, focusing on proper heat control and seasoning. To finish\, the class includes baking Chinese Almond Cookies\, a light and crisp dessert with a delicate almond flavor.
