DESCRIPTION:Design Core Detroit is hosting a meetup for interested event organizers of the Detroit Month of Design on Thursday\, March 2nd from 5:30pm – 7:30pm at Hunt Street Station. In this session\, we review best practices\, FAQs\, and anti-ableism tips. \nThis year’s festival theme is “United by Design” because the quality of our future depends on acknowledging our interdependence. Design Core is focused on the products\, services and systems that help communities become more resilient and united. Our intention is to bring unity to the forefront as we believe this element holds the key to creating a future in which all people and our planet thrive. \nTaking place throughout the City of Detroit and online\, this year’s festival will feature a mix of Design Core\, sponsor and independently-produced events that range from exhibitions\, installations\, product launches\, lectures\, panel discussions\, tours\, workshops and more. \nPARKING\nPark in the back of the building or on the side streets surrounding the building.
