DESCRIPTION:The Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP) is proud to support Rare Disease Day by joining the #LightUpforRare initiative\, raising awareness for the more than 300 million people worldwide affected by over 7\,000 rare diseases. \nThis year\, a Global Chain of Lights will unite the rare disease community\, with landmarks illuminated in pink\, green\, blue\, and purple. \nDDP will join with other community partners Downtown and make #CampusMartiusPark shine in solidarity from dusk to dawn\, demonstrating our commitment to raising awareness and supporting those living with rare diseases. \nAdditional community partners lighting up downtown include: \n\nThe Detroit Lions\nDTE’s Beacon Park\nBedrock\nThe People Mover\n\nLearn more at rarediseaseday.org.
