DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, April 26 | One night only!\n\n\nDoors at 6 p.m. | Program at 7 p.m. \n\n\n\nJoin us at the Hatch Off to watch the FINAL FOUR finalists of the 2023 Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest go head-to-head to compete for a cash grant to open up their brick-and-mortar retail business in the city. The finalists will make one last pitch\, “Shark Tank-style\,” in front of a panel of judges and attendees. Thanks to the support of Comerica Bank\, one winning business will be awarded $100\,000! We’ll make a dream come true\, and you’ll have a front-row seat. \nTickets are $25 each. The event will feature a cash bar (all drinks $5) and complimentary small bites provided by Hatch alumni businesses. \nThis is a celebration of all things local in Detroit: food\, music and fun! \n\nABOUT THE CONTEST \nThe Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest by TechTown is a retail competition that gives savvy entrepreneurs the chance to win a cash grant and package of in-kind services to open up their brick-and-mortar storefront in Detroit\, Hamtramck or Highland Park.

DESCRIPTION:How fun would it be to draw in the DIA? Here’s your chance. Find your muse in the DIA to draw alongside other local artists. \nWe will be meeting at the DIA cafe at 2. Around 2:30 we will be dispersing around the DIA to start drawing our piece of art! \nThings to know: \n\nYou’ll need your own folding chair or seat.\nYou are welcome to sketch and draw in the galleries with graphite pencils and kneaded erasers. Pens\, colored or lead pencils\, paints\, rubber erasers\, and other art supplies are not permitted.\nPlease bring a clipboard or lapboard as floors\, walls\, or pedestals cannot be used for writing\, sketching\, or drawing.\nOversized portfolios are not permitted.\n\n
