SUMMARY:Transforming Industry and Lives: A Tour of Industrial Sewing and Innovation Center in Detroit
DESCRIPTION:Join us on a tour and 3D Knitting demonstration at the only national institute for soft goods manufacturing\, ISAIC—Industrial Sewing and Innovation Center. You will witness the power of partnership in innovation\, training\, and community at Detroit’s own hub for fashion manufacturing—leading the charge to position the region as the Silicon Valley of apparel manufacturing. Experience how this stigma-busting model is leading an industry toward real sustainable change through programs that simultaneously advance technologies and people’s lives. \nDiscover Detroit’s vision of how soft goods production could and should be. This tour will leave you inspired and ready to be a part of the movement toward a more equitable and sustainable future for all. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see the future of manufacturing in action. Join us and be a part of the change! \nEvent Details\nWednesday\, September 13th\n5:00 pm – 7:00 pm \nAbout ISAIC\nBefore 2020\, there was no organization in the U.S.\, and perhaps the world\, who convenes\, facilitates\, and pilots new industry solutions for the sewn trades\, while simultaneously training people to become the masters of those systems. ISAIC is developing a talent force that is valued and competitive. ISAIC aligns the critical components for successful pilots\, while ensuring people benefit from economic upward mobility and prosperity. They then proliferate proven solutions that redefine the industry by eliminating low-skilled jobs\, reducing waste\, shortening production times\, and making a new competitive true net cost for buyers. ISAIC is leading the industry to a transformed state where both people and industry are the beneficiaries of innovation and collaboration.
