DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars on September 29th for our 2nd Annual Evening of Arts\, this year as a part of the Detroit Month of Design! Enjoy viewing art from local creators while also tasting hors d’oeuvres prepared by talented culinary artists. There will be a Sofar Sounds concert taking place on the 3rd floor and an open Arts & Crafts workshop on the 2nd. We will end the night with a Cypher and Jam Session hosted by Lito\, which is open to any artists willing to take the mic! \nOur goal is to showcase the depth of which the art community here in our city reaches. From music\, to food\, to fashion we have so much culture to offer and talent to portray. It was completed in May of 1897\, served as the Third Precinct for Detroit’s Metropolitan Police Department for 63 years\, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. In early 2017\, Detroiters Matthew and Kevin Morin purchased the building and began a historical renovation to return the Station to its former glory. Now completed\, Hunt Street Station is the new home for Macro Connect\, the Morins’ education technology consulting company. It also offers substantial downtown Detroit coworking space for small businesses\, non-profits\, and independent professionals.
