DESCRIPTION:Join a FREE community barre class at Robert C. Valade Park with Detroit Barre!\n\n\nJoin a FREE community barre class at Robert C. Valade Park with Detroit Barre! Barre fitness is designed to define and tone the muscles with isometric exercises that combine ideas from ballet\, pilates and yoga. No prior experience with Barre is needed to join this class\, which takes place right along the Detroit River.  \nParticipants are encouraged to bring a mat or towel (extra mats will be provided). Class will take place on grass directly facing the Detroit River and right next to the Valade beach. Participants are encouraged to dress for outdoor movement and bring water\, sunscreen\, and bug spray.  \nRegistration is required and opens two weeks prior to each class.  \nRobert C. Valade Park is located at 2670 Atwater. Free parking is available in the lot across the street from the park at Chene and Guoin as well as on nearby side streets. Please follow all posted signs and do not park in areas designated as no parking zones\, and be sure to pay and posted fees if you are parking in a paid lot.
