SUMMARY:I-75 Cap Feasibility Study Public Meeting #3
DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, May 5 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. \, the DDP\, in partnership with MDOT and the City of Detroit\, will host the next in-person community meeting about the I-75 Cap Feasibility Study. This meeting will focus on interactive workshops designed to gather input on the desired amenities and programming for the park caps. There will be a designated area for youth to share their input as well. The meeting will be held at the MSU Detroit Center\, located at 3408 Woodward Avenue. \nThis four-meeting series is focused on sharing progress and gathering community input to help shape the future design\, programming\, and implementation of the proposed three caps over I-75. \nLocation: \nMSU Detroit Center\n3408 Woodward Avenue \nFree and open to the public\nLight refreshments and validated parking provided \nWhat to Expect:  \n\nKey takeaways from the February public meeting\nResults from the community survey\nThemes that continue to shape the I-75 Cap project\n\nThe Feasibility Study began with community engagement in October 2025 and continues through June 2026. This phase evaluates technical\, environment\, and transportation and public space considerations\, while keeping community voices at the center of the process. The study is being led by AECOM\, an international transportation and infrastructure firm.
