DESCRIPTION:We’re fundraising to end oil drilling in one of the most biodiverse areas in the world 🌱This Tuesday\, 8/8\, from 6-9pm come join us at the Jam Handy for some amazing food\, drinks\, music\, and raffle items! \nFor the past DECADE\, a nationwide coalition of activists\, @yasunidos\, have been organizing in Ecuador to stop drilling in Yasuní National Park\, often referred to as the “lungs of the world.” In 3 weeks\, the nation is going to vote on whether or not to end oil drilling there. This is a fundraiser for the activists in this last – and most important – leg of their campaign!! Let’s show some transnational solidarity to those fighting to protect our earth. 🌎 This would have huge implications for climate change and set an inspiring example for anti-extractive industry. \nMore details on food\, vendors\, and music coming soon.
