DESCRIPTION:Join the Michigan Ethereum MeetUp for a rooftop party! We’ll be hosting a presidential debate watch party with [Stand With Crypto](https://www.standwithcrypto.org/) **this coming Thursday\, June 27th**. The Michigan Ethereum MeetUp joins College DAO\, OffChain Global\, and Detroit Blockchain Center members for an evening of networking while we watch the debate and show up to demonstrate that the Crypto Voter is real and engaged with the political process. \nThis is a pivotal election for the future of the crypto industry and over the past weeks\, the crypto community has seen the relevance and importance of crypto policy. Crypto in America is now a topic of national debate\, and we have seen bipartisan crypto bills make progress in Congress. Mobilizing advocates to elect pro-crypto candidates is critically important to making this movement successful. Crypto regulation affects all of us\, and we need clear regulation and boundaries to encourage innovation and protect retail investors. \nWe have seen major wins with [FIT21](https://www.standwithcrypto.org/resources)\, the SEC dropping its investigation against Ethereum\, and Spot ETH ETF approvals. But there’s more work to be done to define our relationship with digital ownership and assets.
