SUMMARY:Full Moon Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the Full Harvest Moon with a guided meditation.\n\n\nCelebrate the Full Harvest Moon with the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy\, Outdoor Adventure Center\, and Afro Moone on Thursday\, September 28 from 7-8:30 PM. Join us atop the hill in Milliken State Park for stunning views of the Detroit Riverfront and the Detroit skyline and a guided meditation in celebration of the sunset and the Full Harvest Moon. You’ll hear about the science of the moon from the education team at the Outdoor Adventure Center before a sonic meditation exploring how our waters are impacted by moon phases and meditative preparedness for relaxation. Guests will experience a guided meditation\, breathe work and sound bath led by Afro Moone. \nGuests are encouraged to dress for the weather and bring blankets\, cushions\, or chairs to sit on the hill. Journals\, water\, and any other items to center your meditation are also encouraged. All ages are welcome. \nFree parking is available in the lot at 1901 Atwater. \nRegistration is not required but encouraged.
