In 1979 Daniel Overstreet bought the burned out building on Cass Avenue and renovated into what has since then been The Old Miami. Daniel is a veteran and as such has offered free admission to all veterans that come to events. An icon of Cass Corridor, The Old Miami has become the CBGB’s of Detroit having hosted some of the greatest punk and rock bands in the country.
