Iron Chef Detroit III
June 11 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

IRON CHEF DETROIT IS BACK!
Detroit nonprofit Cass Community Social Services will once again transform Eastern Market – Shed 5 into a kitchen stadium for Iron Chef Detroit III.
This year, reigning Iron Chef Detroit Champion Andy Hollyday (Selden Standard) will be challenged by John Vermiglio (Grey Ghost, Basan, Second Best, Little Ghost).
The annual three-round cooking competition offers guests a truly unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience as two of Detroit’s most noteworthy chefs have a culinary clash right in front of your eyes.
Returning for Iron Chef Detroit III will be co-host Carlos Parisi (Host, Influencer, Entrepreneur), who will be joined by newcomer Jon Kung (Chef, Author of KUNG FOOD).
Both chefs will be tasked with utilizing a secret ingredient that’s unveiled live and the winner will be determined by a panel of judges that includes award-winning chefs Mamba Hamissi (Baobab Fare) and Anthony Lombardo (SheWolf, Medusa), as well as author, director, activist and Detroit Poet Laureate Jessica Care Moore.
